The Lambuth University Student Activities Committee (SAC) is a student organization responsible for providing a balanced schedule of social, cultural, educational, and recreational programs and activities for the Lambuth University community of students. The SAC is funded with a portion of the Student Activities Fee and is therefore continually challenged to meet the interests and needs of Lambuth students. This committee works with national agencies, local organizations, students, faculty, and staff to provide events for students. S.A.C. is a member of the National Association of Campus Activities (NACA). The organization elects students to attend the national and/or regional NACA conferences each year. Activities SAC sponsors a variety of activities during the year including: coffee nights, bands, bowling nights, skating nights, hypnotists, comedians speakers, novelty acts, recreational trips, volleyball tournaments, movies-on-the-green, and much more. SAC strives to co-program and provide support for the endeavors of other organizations. In addition, SAC sponsors the Back-to-School Bash each fall and the Spring Fling events held the week before Spring Break. Membership SAC is open to any Lambuth student. Members assist with planning, promoting, and coordinating the variety of events planned during the academic year.
